Second Sign-Off Visit
A second lesson visit, using the same criteria as your first. It decides whether you are now Ready for RAISE.
What to do
1. Agree a lesson in which your priorities and both key areas will be seen.
2. Plan it in LEAD, and run it through Unpick if you would like a second look.
3. Teach as normal. Say what you noticed first, then hear the feedback.
Short on time?
Plan the moment your priority will show, and tell your Innovator when it is.
Quick win for your next lesson
Show your progress on purpose: plan a moment where the change you have practised is easy to see, such as two checkpoints where everyone answers.
What happens next
RAISEReady for RAISE: you move into STEP AHEAD alongside your RAISE target.
Still Further mentoring: you also move on to STEP AHEAD and the RAISE cycle. If RAISE Visit 1 shows more coaching would help, STEP FORWARD (the RAISE Accelerator) picks up from there.
Revisit: if a key area was not seen, the visit is repeated. It is neither a pass nor a fail.
