Modelling & Collaborative Planning
Plan one lesson with your Innovator. They model the tricky part, then you explain the plan back.
What to do
Lesson Weaver1. Open Lesson Weaver together and plan a LEAD lesson that uses your priority.
2. Your Innovator models the part you find hardest, saying their thinking out loud.
3. Explain the plan back: what learners will do, where they might struggle, and what you will do then.
Short on time?
Plan only the part of the lesson where your priority shows.
Quick win for your next lesson
Write down the likely mistake and your response before the lesson: "If they mix up X and Y, I'll show both side by side."

- Head-on misconceptionsPlanning for the likely mistake.
Reflect
Pause for a few minutes. Short notes or bullet points are enough.
- STOP:
What did my Innovator do that I would not have?
- THINK:
Why does the plan work?
- PLAN:
Where might learners struggle, and what will I do?
Next step
Teach the plan in Stage 6 and collect one piece of evidence.
Your reflection record
Prompts for your own notes on this stage. Bring them to your next conversation with your Innovator.
