Baseline Visit: PowerEd
Record a lesson with PowerEd, focused on your priority, so you have a clear picture to work from.
What to do
1. Write one question for the recording, such as "How many learners did I hear from?" or "Did everyone start the task?"
2. Record a normal lesson in which your priority will show.
3. Use the PowerEd steps below, keeping to your priority.
Short on time?
Watch only the ten minutes where your priority shows.
Quick win for your next lesson
Count one simple thing in the recording: how many learners answered a question, or how long it took until everyone was working. A number makes progress easy to see next time.
Using your PowerEd feedback
Before you read it: note what went well, what was hard and what you were conscious of.
After: what stood out, what surprised you, and is there a pattern?
Then: one thing to keep, one to change, and what you will look for next time.

Reflect
Pause for a few minutes. Short notes or bullet points are enough.
- STOP:
What did I notice before reading the feedback?
- THINK:
What did PowerEd show about my priority?
- PLAN:
What is the one change to make?
Next step
Bring your recording notes to Stage 3 to turn them into one action.
Your reflection record
Prompts for your own notes on this stage. Bring them to your next conversation with your Innovator.
