Review & Refocus
Pick one or two priorities from your sign-off visit and make them specific enough to see in a lesson.
What to do
1. Read your sign-off feedback with your Innovator. If Inclusion and SEND or Formative assessment was Amber, start there.
2. Write each priority as "I would know I had improved if learners…".
3. Agree what support would help most: planning together, seeing a colleague, or more visits.
Short on time?
Choose one priority, not two. You can add the second later.
Quick win for your next lesson
Choose one small thing you can do in tomorrow's lesson that moves your first priority on, and do it.
If your priority is…
RAISEFormative assessment: start with whole-class answers after every explanation, and an exit ticket you read before you plan the next lesson.
Inclusion and SEND: start with instructions written as well as spoken, the task modelled, and a support any learner can use without asking.
Another area: the RAISE target finder helps you pin down which part of it to work on.

Reflect
Pause for a few minutes. Short notes or bullet points are enough.
- STOP:
What did the sign-off visit show?
- THINK:
Which priority would help my learners most?
- PLAN:
What will I do first?
Next step
Agree your priorities with your Innovator and book a PowerEd recording for Stage 2.
Your reflection record
Prompts for your own notes on this stage. Bring them to your next conversation with your Innovator.
- My sign-off feedback said…
- The priorities I chose, and why…
- What I noticed when I reread my feedback…
- What would show I had improved…
- What I will do first…
